How Lamont can win

I don't think poll numbers mean much at this point. Except for political junkies, most people aren't thinking about whether Joe should be re-elected. Part of Lamont's job will be to make them start thinking. If these poll numbers prove anything, it's that he starts in a good position, with many of the people he has to reach already persuaded. His job is to tie Lieberman to Bush. As I've said before, every commercial should end with this:
Joe Lieberman, George Bush's favorite Democrat
