Life is unfair
Yesterday, to my amazement and surprise, I
learned that one of the promoted diaries at Daily Kos had linked to me. I had
finally hit the big time.
What, you
might ask, earned this august honor? Was it one of my prescient pieces of
political analysis? One of my sideslapping pieces of political humor? One of my
tirades against untruth, injustice and the un-American ways of our present
leaders?
No, it
wasn't.
It was a collection of photos
that I posted Thursday night while in an alcohol induced semi-haze, which I had
to edit a couple of times the next day, just to get rid of various typos and
grammatical mistakes. Believe it or not (and I hate to admit this) there are
times when I spend a lot of time on these things, but that was not one of
them.
Ah well, such are the vagaries of
life. Next up, more pictures from today's victory party. Maybe Atrios will pick
them up.
