Guardian Monkey up to Monkey Business
Back in February of last year I posted a picture of the Guardian Monkey of
Brook Street, about which I was quoted by Steve Slosberg in his column. Here's
the picture I posted then:
Well, yesterday, my wife and I were taking a walk to Haley Farm, and lo and behold, the Monkey has apparently been delivered of a child, in what we can only conclude (there being no other monkeys around), was a virgin birth. Mother and child seem to be doing fine. Mom seemed to get through last winter, and all the recent rain, in fairly good shape. Here she is with her new baby:
