Al Gore wins an Oscar
Well, those Hollywood leftists have done it
again. Al Gore has won an Oscar for An Inconvenient
Truth.
Pity the competition, whatever
it was. Was there ever any doubt on this
one?
Now that he has his little gold
man tucked away, maybe Al can turn his attention to the presidential campaign,
specifically
his
presidential campaign. There's a good chance that come October of November
people will be heartily sick of the content free campaigns of Obama and Clinton.
By that time they may both have managed to render each other unelectable in the
general election, though I admit that's a tall order considering the poor
Republican field. If Gore were to step up at that point, pledge to talk honestly
about the issues and actually follow through, we might see something interesting
take place. Personally I think Gore would shoot up to the top of the polls
within a week.
