As my life from the age of ten has produced an ever deepening involvement with the flute, much of the material here will reflect that interest. My performing career has encompassed a variety of activities from symphony orchestra to chamber music to solo. I have made an number of recordings some of which can be ordered directly from me. I served as the principal flutist of the New York City Opera fom 1965 to 2002 and taught flute at The Hartt School from 1977 to 2007. I have written a number of articles on the flute and have edited and published flute music. With an unusual surname (pronounced as in lion) I have also pursued an interest in genealogy.
My memoir, "Wood, Silver and Gold" is available from lulu.com
