It is with great delight and pride that the
College Republicans in Marion County are putting their support behind Marion's
finest judicial candidate.
As someone
who knows people, current Marion County Municipal Court Judge Teresa Ballinger
has a reputation that has promoted fairness and equality for all who live in
Marion County.
Judge Ballinger has
been an educator, and those of us who are involved in education appreciate
someone who knows the educational system, that can be used for fairness inside
the courtroom.
At one of our weekly
meetings Judge Ballinger came and spoke about the local municipal court's
duties, and the format in which it works. She enlightened college students at
The Ohio State University Marion with knowledge and stories that were truly
interesting. She answered questions with ease, and showed that she was the best
person for the job of municipal court
judge.
The College Republicans have
devoted their support to Judge Ballinger in the upcoming election, and hope you
will also. Recently named Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts said:
"Certain humility should characterize the judicial role. Judges and justices
are servants of the law, not the other way around." This does, and will hold
true with Judge Teresa
Ballinger.
