On March 29, 2007 John went out the north door after it had been standing open to pick up Patti Fox for a visit. This lizard was on the inside of the door!

On the same day a cousin was on the south step. :-)

22. Top of Desert Peak. Palo Verde visible for miles in either direction, east or west.

Lots of wildlife exists in the High Sonoran Desert. This guy was seen walking about between the observatory and the Tool Shed two nights in a row. Bug moved so fast that photographer had to keep tossing penny near where the bug was headed to capture both in the picture at the same time. We think this is a "Stink Bug" although there was no smell.


31. This Saguaro we have named "hooker." Our hawk likes to perch on the hook.

34. Taken as the moon was nearing the first quarter. Just to the upper right of the moon a high flying jet.

35. Desert hawk making the top branch a perch. Mate was nearby on the top of another saguaro.

62. Sleeping but moved away whilst we enjoyed Glen Lake Lakers coffee. We have not seen him return yet.
