Accept the result
There's a reason China isn't overrun with ambulance
chasing lawyers, and a big clue can be found in a sign posted in our hotel
bathroom, in both English and Chinese.
The English text is a bit clumsy, but Deb confirms
that it is faithful to the Chinese original:
Be careful for slippery floorIt may sound a bit blunt, but I can't really argue with the message. Taking responsibility for your actions and their consequences is assumed to be normal adult behavior in this "undeveloped" country. Maybe in the US, McDonalds needs to post a few signs:
