This very successful black tie event was held on the evening of Friday, 8 May 2009 and was organized by Walter Kemp (Exeter, 1963) and his wife Valda

the 43rd annual O & C boat race dinner held at the Univ. of King's College after a champagne reception in the SCR the assembled guests sat down to dine we enjoyed roast beef and all the trimmings at High Table in Prince Hall there were six representatives from each of the Universities, and their guests we then went with the two candelabra for dessert and port in the Board Room Robert Dawson toasted Oxford and George Cooper toasted Cambridge, both wittily a DVD of the Race was shown courtesy of Leslie Jaeger: a fitting conclusion
