The Concert Choir and Show Choir both participated in the 5th Annual Festival Disney Competition. Both choirs place 1st their categories and both received SUPERIOR ratings. Both choirs also received the Festival Disney SILVER award which means that both choirs had the second highest scores of all the choirs at the festival (in their respective classes) regardless of classification! It was great day for Central Islip!! CONGRATULATIONS to the Concert Choir for a wonderful performance for the 5th annual Queens College High School Choral Festival at the Aaron Copland School of Music. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CONCERT AND SHOW CHOIRS for a wonderful WINTER CONCERT. It was wonderful seeing all the wonderful Concert Choir alumni back in the audience and to share a few numbers with them. Next year we'll have our first ALUMNI PARTY (the "After Glow!!") at an off-site location to be announced closer to next year's concert. WELCOME HOME CONCERT CHOIR AND SHOW CHOIR FROM ITALY!-- The Concert Choir and Show Choir had an incredibly successful tour of Italy this summer. The Concert Choir performed in Rome, including Vatican for Sunday Mass, Venice, & Florence. Other cities visited (with impromptu concerts given in every one!) were Montecatini, Siena, Pisa, and Milan.
