Welcome to Area IX from Director Dr. Ralph Villani

Area IX of The California Retired Teachers Association is just one of the 12 Areas in CalRTA where approximately 50,000 retired teachers, administrators, counselors, psychologists, speech therapists, and other retired educators join together as partners to protect and enhance their retirement benefits.

There are 87 Divisions throughout California where retired educators provide leadership and work together on common causes and mutual interests. Area IX's 11 Divisions are located in the Riverside and San Bernardino counties close to the cities of Corona, Norco, Palm Desert, Indio, Coachella, 29 Palms, Yucca Valley, San Jacinto, Hemet, Idyllwild, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Banning, Beaumont, Barstow, Apple Valley, Rialto, and Fontana.

If you are a retired educators but have not yet joined CalRTA, now more than any other time in the history of this organization is it urgent for you to become a member. Our pensions are under attack. CalRTA is the real authoritative voice for retired educators. All retired educators should join CalRTA in order for our organization to continue to be strong.
