REUNION DVD
  All those attending the reunion
  were given a 34 minute DVD and
  those committed but unable to
  attend were given and sent a DVD.
  Orders for the DVD may be placed
  by those others not attending and
  everyone may order additional
  DVDs. Each DVD has each one's
  individual senior picture printed
  on it. Cost is $10.00 per DVD.

Half a Century Later, The Big Five-O

Richard M. was the kind of kid who had fun in high school, who had girlfriends all over the place. Patty P. was into drama and music, an A student on the Student Council. Richard K., on the reserved side, spent summer vacations working as a lifeguard. Vicki B. was the head cheerleader cutie who was also Miss Palm Springs.That was 50 years ago at Palm Springs High School. Today, Richard Milanovich is tribal chairman of Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. Patty Patzner Saleh is a member of the Thousand Palms Community Council and member of several community-wide advisory committees. Richard Kite is mayor of Rancho Mirage. Vicki Biss McDermott is winding up a successful career as a building contractor and an interior and exterior home designer. All attended the 50th anniversary reunion of Palm Springs High's combined classes
of 1960 and 1961. Over the three-day weekend, classmates from near and far gathered for the reuniting, the nostalgia, the celebrating. A dinner dance was held at the historical O'Donnell Golf Club, access to the private facility arranged by member Judy Grier Munson (class of 1960). Now an accomplished artist, Judy is remembered for her tiny orange and white car in which she buzzed all over town with as many kids as could squeeze inside. There was a picnic at Ruth Hardy Park. There was a dinner at Las Casuelas Terraza owned by the prominent Delgado family, the Delgago siblings all having attended Palm Springs High.
