Getting closer to RAO
More details this week
Does Torka have some fog lights for the pace
vehicle? More lighting would be better following riders at night. We have the
flashers and big "Race in progress" signs for the pace vehicle. Rider rotation
and food seem to be coming together. I have 2 options for the hitch when I pick
up the rental van, I just need to know what kind we are going to get! (Ford or
Chevy). So much to think about!
I also dropped the tables and chairs by Coventry Cycles for the Bacchetta Night June 20th. Mark you calendars! It starts at 6:00PM!
On a different note, I rode with the STP one day group on my training ride yesterday. Out Hwy 30 to St. Hellens doing 15 minute intervals, and met up with my good friend Bruce Parker. We rode together to the finish (I tried to go outside the finish line but they corralled me in with the other riders). It was good to see him finish the one day, and he was in hi spirits and motoring right along when I caught up. Good job Bruce!
I also saw Todd and Lonnie at the finish as well. Great job guys! It's turning out to be a great cycling summer.
