Started in 1962 by a group of ladies passionate about flowers – from growing to arranging.
Thame Flower Club has flourished in its 43 years and is one of the most successful in the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Area of NAFAS (to which we are affiliated).
This is a club for all flower lovers, our membership ranges from those who purely enjoy watching the skills of our demonstrators, to members who compete at area and national level.
We meet, from 2.00 - 4.00 p.m. (approx), on the fourth Wednesday of each month at Church House (in the High Street), Long Crendon. |
|
Our programme also includes a Summer outing, demonstrations by nationally accredited arrangers, a Christmas party and a range of other social events.
We hold a series of classes, during the early Spring, to assist any members who wish to learn the art of flower arranging, or to refresh their existing skills.
There are club competitions, four times a year, if members wish to participate.
We currently have 68 members and the modest annual subscription represents excellent value. In addition to the annual subscription members are asked to cover the modest extra charge of the Summer outing and national demonstrations.
Our Committee Members will be happy to answer any queries you may have. |

If you feel you would like to attend a meeting, before committing yourself to membership, please come along to our next meeting. The afternoon charge for guests is £4.50.
We are a very (and we mean very) lively, friendly, group who will welcome new members.
WE DO HOPE THAT YOU WILL COME AND JOIN US.
You can sit back and relax and enjoy an afternoon of pure pleasure as our talented demonstrators delight and amaze you with their arranging skills.
Everyone is welcome.
We look forward to seeing you soon. |
