| Visiting
friends, Abby and Sarah, check out Danny being checked out
by John, and seem quite interested in the very calm, quiet
and natural procedures of the use of the Sumerel Training
System methods, being used for basic relationship training.. |
| Abby,
as well as her friend, Sarah, wanted to try riding in
a western saddle, which neither girl had done before.. |
| Neither
girl had ever before ridden a horse who was going both barefoot
and bitless, either. |
| After riding,
the girls posed for a photo with John, before leaving for
home. |
| Our vet',
"Doc'" Amy's mare, Minnie, at her first Competitive Trail
Ride of 2004 |
| Our newest
neighbor in 2004, is an Appaloosa filly, named Foolish Chatter. |
| At a mere
3 1/2 months old, Chatter tried nursing with her new, adopted
"mom", Daisy. Needless to say, this doesn't work! |
| Our neighbors,
Kim & Piper hope to ride Daisy & Chatter together
in years ahead. |
| Our top
local attraction in the springof 2003 was "Doc'" Amy's foal,
Juniata. |
| Juni's Mom
is the Arabian mare, Kharbon (the second of "Doc'" Amy's
two mares). |
| This shot
of Juni's "first stand" is a freeze frame of a video feature
on this site. |
| Juniata,
"Doc'" Amy and Kharbon are the stars of the video feature. |
| Also in
the spring of 2003, Bart only had Llamas Allys and Beaker
for a herd. |
| Since our
quarter horse, Danny hadn't yet arrived here, Bart kept
the llamas busy. |
| Bart used
to joke about how much fatter Allys' younger brother, Beaker,
was. |
| So, Bart
would sneak up and then joke about how much faster he was. |
| Of course,
Bart tends to be somewhat of a "fattie", himself. |
| Here's a
classic memory for us: Easter of 2003, when Juni wore some
bunny ears. |
| And Juni's
friend, Doyle, being a clown as usual, borrowed the ears
for his pix. |
