There is oh, so much that most of us humans need to learn FROM and ABOUT other animals, all other life forms and the natural world! These are things that aren't taught well (if, at all( by most parents, or, in the formative grades of most public schools. And, this now has become a truly urgent, peak level crisis - A CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER - that clearly is A LIFE AND DEATH matter for the entire human species.
For one thing , in case you haven't noticed, the wheels of human civilization, with the present breakdowns of its various economies and governmental social systems, appear to be spinning off in various directions all around the world. At the same time, also all around the world, we are running critically low on any still remaining, pure and healthy air, water and food. Does this foretell a premature extinction of much or all of the human species?
Despite it's obsessive superiority complex and preoccupation with it's self deluded perspective that mankind was endowed with some kind of manifest destiny for world dominance over all other living things, most of mankind fails to acknowledge that its own species actually is exceptionally fragile and vulnerable to mass self extinction - merely a readily expendable and comparatively insignificant, single element in the overwhelmingly great, natural circle of life on our planet. In reality, all of the combined powers, abilities, knowledge and technologies of the human species are dwarfed to an analogous point of mere "spit in the ocean" by the powers of The Creator's natural world.
What the vast majority of the world's politicians and public citizens fail to truly comprehend is that ALL of mankind's greatest social problems (from interpersonal and international relations, terrorism and warfare - to economic failures - to exacerbations of extreme weather and climate changes - to lethal earth, air, water and food contamination - even to problems with public education and health care in the U.S.) are inevitable results of mankind's consistent and irresponsible failure to recognize and accord appropriate respect and consideration to natural ecology and all natural things on the planet. And, all of these inalterably being connected in a continuously ongoing and recycling, CIRCULAR path of consequential interactions, what we do to the others ultimately comes around full circle and inevitably becomes done to ourselves.
The next page begins what is intended to be a working perspective of this circular path, representing what, hopefully, are extremely close approximations of both how things SHOULD BE, in relationship to each other, and the extent to which the great hoop of essential interconnections has been corrupted by greed driven and ultimately self destructive humans and their depraved civilizations. Much of this information relates to human neglect of some very fundamental and insurmoutable things about life and long term survival that other animals, such as baby fishes, birds, butterflies, bears, wolves, wild horses, beavers and ants are taught by their elders, making their species better equipped for healthy and long sustainable survival on our planet than are most contemporary humans. And, NOW, more than ever, it is information that SHOULD BE (but, mostly ISN'T) a key part of parental concerns for the upbringing and education of each and every child in the world.
