While it may not seem like a very big deal to many people, constant exposure to loud or irritating noises is not a good thing for the health and nervous systems of either people or horses. And, continuous traffic noise is one of the most constant offenders, for much of our modern society. We feel fortunate that the public road in front of our property is hardly a throughway either to or from anywhere, except the properties of our few, nearby neighbors' properties, which influenced the decision to move here.
