Reversing our camera angle from the previous photo on this "tour", to look DOWN (instead of up) the house hillside, provides a fairly good view of most of our front pasture, which is pretty much the same size as the back pasture.  When access is limitied to either one (not both) of our pastures, the two horses and two llamas really only have a total turnout area of probably little more than two acres, which includes the hill climb and barn paddock sections.  We would like to leave both gates open to give them about five acres of "room to roam", except for some very scary problems for them, which actually resulted indirectly from our practice of 24/7 year round turnout.  Having to deal with some of the PROBLEMS and inconveniences of 24/7 turnout, will be a recurring subject of the next group of photo pages.
