Grauer is the author of a biography entitled
Remember Laughter: A Life of James
Thurber. Although he did not know Thurber
personally, he talked to over a hundred people
while writing his book. Grauer's tone is
respectful and distant, yet at the same time
affectionate and admiring. He included an
amazing amount of information in his book,
including several of Thurber's drawings and
photos of the humorist, his friends, and his
family. I enjoyed reading this biography of the
humorist and found it very informative.
