DEATH CARDS

This is a expansion to the game mafia. It has been played and tested once. I'm not including the mafia rules here. During play testing it was suggested the Casper has a bit too much power, but I'm leaving it here in it's original format. Players might want to eliminate or modify Casper before the game.

Each player receives two cards, their regular identity card and a "death" card. You look at both cards at the beginning of the game. If the Townspeople kill you, you reveal your death card. If the Mafia kills you do not get to reveal your death and it has no effect.  

Casper – While dead, Casper can haunt (communicate) in writing with one person. Casper may stay awake during the night. At the moment of death, Casper has to pick one person to haunt - they cannot write or communicate to anyone else. The haunted may reiterate what Casper has told them however, they may not reveal the actual writing to anyone. If the person Casper is haunting dies Casper gets to choose a new victim.

Gandalf – May take someone of their choice with them to the grave. This person does not get to reveal and use their death card.
 
Bruce Willis – needs a unanimous vote (all but him/her), not just a majority to be killed. Once revealed Bruce keeps their death card throughout the game.  

Dead Kennedy – sleeps while the living sleep and votes during the day. Dead Kennedy may not wake up at any point during the night even if they were the cop, doctor or Mafia when they were alive. The Dead Kennedy must be careful not to involve him/her self in conversations in any way. They can listen but not speak, even if asked a direct question.

Jamie Lee Curtis – gives away their identity card (Townsperson, Mafia, Doctor, or cop) when they die to the person of their choice. The person who receives the new identity must play the new identity and discard their old one.
 
Captain Barbossa – can come back from the dead, (once only). Captain Barbossa cannot be killed again until the next day. If the townspeople kill Captain Barbossa then it triggers nighttime even though nobody "dies" because well, dude, he did actually die. Captain Barbossa may not be killed by the mafia the following night. If Captain Barbossa is killed again then Captain Barbossa stays down the second time.  

Jimmy Hoffa – union leader of the dead. When Jimmy dies the dead get their own round of voting at night. This round is different than the mafia round - Jimmy nominates one person to die and all the dead vote with a thumbs up or down. If the vote is not unanimous then the victim lives.
