Six days of people standing on top of each other finally got to me, and I added a nasty cold to my other ailments. I dont mean to complain, but it skewers some of my observations.

We got to the park very late again. Had lunch reservations for 12:10, and made it into MGM about 11:00.

We did a ride on Tower Of Terror, but didnt bother to Fast Pass. The posted wait was 60 minutes, but it was more like 20. This remains a great ride. I am always nervous by the time we board the elevator, and extra nervous by the time they lock you into the drop shaft. It is an exhilarating experience overall.

I tried to find a replacement for my broken key chain, but did not have anything I liked. i found a necklace that matches my old key chain, that I hope to make work. This was a keychain that is a hologram of a skull. I originally bought it at the Haunted Mansion, then broke it, then bought a replacement at the Tower of Terror, then broke it, and am replacing it again. But, it seems to last me a year or so before I break it again.

Mama Melrose's was just OK. This is the first time we have eaten here, I dont know if we will be back. Debbie and Nick had flat bread, I had spaghetti with clams and mussels. On this trip, the most typical Italian American resteraunt was Tonys Town Plaza, but the best Italian, by far, was Alfredos. Id go back to both of those again, but I dont know about Mamas.

I dont think any of us was greatly impressed. Atmosphere and service were very good, though. We did not have desert, because we had used up our table credits (but ended up with counter credits at the end!) I did have a nice soup to start off. It was a different version of pasta fagiolo. It was not bad, but it was not like Alfredos.

We headed over to Muppets. Nick chuckled aloud through the whole show. He said to me on the way out ÒHow come that show gets funnier every time?Ó He must be at just the right age to appreciate this silliness.

I like it to. There aare very special effects, a little live action, and funny corn ball humor.

Nick and I went on Star Tours. I have been on it more times than I can count by now, but it holds up well. I always enjoy it. It is thrilling and pretty. And its funny too. The was a very short line here.

Ww saw Storm Troopers walking around outside, but missed getting a photo.

We had a counter service at the ABC Commissary. There were good burgers, and good desert. My cold is starting to really mess with me, though.

The Great Movie Ride is still a great movie ride. We have been on it dozens of times, but it just doesnt get old. We got the cowboy switch, and both of our actors were pretty good. Even the finale motivates nods of recognition.

Nick insists on going through the Walt Disney Story, and I am happy to go with him. I dont know if Debbie has ever been in this, she refuses to go this time. Of all the little inspirational things they do here, this one is the real deal.

Walt really had an up and down life, and just kept taking those risks, because he believed in his visions. The walk through is nice, it gives you a sense of the history, and all the tech and innovations that he developed. The movie is great, conveying a real sense of his struggles and triumphs.

We spent some time in the Villains store. In Debbies words Òtheyve ruined that storeÓ. There is way too much pirate stuff, considering there are entire stores elsewhere dedicated to pirates.

There is a lot of jack Skeletor. But, where do we go for Ursula, Jafar, Scar, and Hades? Its a little sad.

Fantasmic! is a wonderful show. It is just really such a spectacular. I still like Illuminations better, but this thing is technically so impressive.

We sat in about the fourth row, and got a little wet, but not soaked. Luckily, the weather wasnt bad.

On the way back on the boat, we had to stand. The combination of this, my cold, and probably even the over the counter cold medicine I was taking really did me in.

I couldnt sleep most of the night, because my heart was racing. On Friday, I was worthless.

Debbie went and got a pizza at Spoodles. It was excellent again, but I only had half a piece, because nothing tasted right to me. Nick and Debbie enjoyed it a lot.

Despite the bit of health troubles at the end, this was still a great Disney day.
