Hell freezes over. Pigs can fly. Etc. etc. All I know is that the reunion of Waters, Wright, Mason, and Gilmour was one of the most magical moments in music history. As a Floyd fan, the anticipation level was high, but my expectation level remained realistic, after all, it had been 24 years and they only decided to do Live 8 in the past month. Man did they sound great! Like they never stopped touring. Roger looked like he was having the time of his life. Dave flashed a couple of those classic Gilmour grins. Also nice was seeing ONLY Nick on drums and ONLY Rick on keys. Roger dedicating Wish You Were Here to Syd Barrett... the entire 24 minutes was such a high. I guess you know what I'll be playing on Wednesday's show.

To the producers of VH-1; as Roger said in "The Wall" - GET 'EM UP AGAINST THE WALL! They should all be shot. Breaking away mid-Comfortably Numb, just before the greatest guitar solo of all time so their 2 on-screen dopes could blab, what a joke. I'm surprised they even showed any Live 8 coverage as it was. God forbid they miss out on another chance to rerun an episode of The Surreal Life. Assholes...
