Wednesday's show and some notes

Wednesday's show (6/29) will feature the debut album "Hinterland" from Norway's Wobbler. This has been one of the most highly-anticipated releases of 2005, and we'll play it in it's entirety.

Just got an email from Antimatter's Duncan Patterson, stating that the upcoming "Planetary Confinement" will be his final contribution to this project. Duncan's new solo project is called Ion, and will apparently feature Anathema vocalist (and Duncan's former bandmate) Vinny Cavanaugh. Duncan will also be working on a Syd Barrett tribute album later on this year. Good luck to Duncan!

My cousin Jimmy Chamberlin came out in the Chicago Sun-Times today stating that he's IN for a possible/probably Smashing Pumpkins reunion.

My stream has been down recently, by my doing. Anna's been having iPod troubles, and I've been backing up her music on my external HD so I can reformat it. This program I'm using is taking forever, not sure if it's due to the iPod or the program. Hopefully, it'll be finished by showtime Wednesday.

Not again!

Internet stayed up Wednesday night just long enough to upload the podcast and update the site, then down it went again, until about 9:30 this morning. Comcast tech came out around 11AM, said something about some problems in the area, fiddled with my outside connection, it's been OK, for now. I can't complain too much, Comcast has been pretty dependable overall, but these last couple of weeks...

Iggy, Loucke, and I were talking this afternoon. Progrock.com needs a serious makeover. We've got a plan, we're working on it, and if that doesn't work, there's always Plan B

Anna got her wisdom teeth pulled yesterday, she's miserable. Poor kid

I think I activated comments today, we'll see how that works. Also, I picked up the new Dream Theater today. Octivarium is now on my iPod, I'll give it a listen later on tonight. Iggy gave me the new Carptree album "Man Made Machine". Pretty cool stuff, I love those guys. Maybe they're Rosfest material... ya never know
