Discover the true meaning of Christmas...handing out awards for lights
and displays! These major awards
are even better than a leg lamp!
Has Christmas got you down? Eminent psychologist Lucy Van Pelt had the
right answer. You need to get involved with something Christmasy! Five
cents, please.
Elf
attrition has made it impossible for us to fully cover Endwell to
bestow
our priceless and extremely coveted awards. If you appreciate the
efforts of the Christmas in Endwell Foundation, consider joining the
ranks of our Elves!
What does it take to be an Elf?
- You must be
reliable!
- You must be willing
and able to prowl the streets of Endwell for hours, on foot, at night
and in the
cold!
- You must have a few
evenings to spare in December.
- You must be old
enough to be skulk around at night with us. Parental permission needed
if under 18.
- You must be willing
to preserve the sacred anonymity of the Foundation!
- You must desire to
spread Christmas cheer to the people of Endwell!
Typical Elf tasks include:
- Helping to
decide who gets an award!
- Helping to
choose categories!
- Filling out
award ribbons!
- Sneaking up
to doors and sticking on the ribbons!
- Keeping
records of winners!
Teams of two or preferably three Elves are most efficient.
Do you think your Elven qualities measure up? Then by all means, write to us and tell us
a little about yourself!
