Christmas in Endwell

Welcome to the Christmas in Endwell Awards!

Every Christmas, the elves and hobbits of Endwell, NY brighten their neighborhoods with holiday lights. In view of their fine efforts, the Christmas in Endwell Foundation has taken it upon itself to recognize them with an award. Our own Elves prowl Endwell neighborhoods handing out awards based on totally arbitrary, subjective criteria!

So, if you happen to hear a jaunty melody outside your house one frosty night, you may have won an award!

The Endwell Elves Song!

ALERT!

We are sad to announce there will be no awards this year.

For the past six years, our Elves have scampered about the darkened streets, gleefully handing out our little award ribbons. For most of that time there have been only two Elves. It has become increasingly difficult for this small number to achieve its goals, and this year we are calling it quits.

We are sorry to disappoint anyone. Perhaps circumstances will change, permitting us to return in 2008. If not, please remember the Endwell Elves fondly, and the smiles and surprises we provided over the years. Will we miss patrolling the colorfully-lit streets of Endwell? Yes. We thank you all for your beautiful displays and for your good wishes. Keep it up!

The Endwell Elves wish every elf and hobbit in Endwell a Merry Christmas.

Please note: the Elves visit as much of Endwell as we possibly can, and we do it throughout the month of December.
If your neighborhood hasn't yet been visited, don't despair. We know it's there and will get there as soon as we can.
If we do happen to miss you entirely, it's not a deliberate slight, and we apologize for our limited resources.

We would like to thank the following mortals for their help and support: Willow, Dick, Mom, Larry, and Mary
