Stardust Comet
Sample Landing
In
2005 the Stardust probe will return to Earth after having gathered a
thimblefull of dust from the coma and tail of Comet Wild 2. The sample
canister will enter the atmosphere protected by a heat shield. With
parachute deployed it will land on the Utah desert for recovery.
