Planets Aligned

This acrylic painting reflects my belief that Earthlike planets are likely to be found as moons of the "Hot Jupiter" class of gas giant planets which have been found orbiting other stars. Heck, even the Star Wars films showed such planets! The sun of these moons and planets is not seen here, but a supernova remnant is visible in the background. I bet everyone got a good tan when that baby went off.
