This site has been set up to provide IAAA members with criticism and feedback about their space and astronomical artwork. Each submitted work will be available for at least one month after posting.
To critique an image: Click on the thumbnail you'd like to
see and then either yak it up on the IAAA listserv using your
regular e-mail application OR click the "Comment!" link on each
page which will take you to a special comments interface form
which will then post your remarks on the listserv.
NOTE: to use this new feature you will need your IAAA Members
Area username and password.
To submit an image: Send it as an e-mail attachment to joe(at)joebergeron.com. JPEG is the preferred file format. Keep the size of your main image file smaller than 200K, to speed downloads for those accessing the site via dialup connections. Pixel dimensions should take into account the various computers which members use to access this site. In order to fit on screens of modest resolution, please keep them to a maximum of 900 pixels wide by 700 pixels high. Please also send a smaller thumbnail JPEG, maximum 200 pixels high or wide. To keep file sizes small, please use Photoshop's "Save for Web" (or "Save for Web and Devices") command. This will reduce the file size of thumbnails to around 5K. Finally, please submit no more than two images at a time.
