This image was made under good seeing conditions (6-7 on my personal scale of 1-10). Eight 1 minute AVIs were collected at 5 FPS, 320x240. The best 137 of 2400+ frames were selected with AVI2bmp, stacked with AstroStack, adjusted with PhotoShop.

 Saturn Occultation

Seeing was not good (5-6). This is a single frame from one of many AVIs collected during the Occultation. This proved to be a very difficult imaging situation. The Moon was extremely bright and Saturn was very dim.

 Saturn F33 Reprocessed

Reprocessed the image data from the above image. Deleted about 12-14 frames, Realigned to previously aligned results, Reprocessed (Unsharp Mask 3 and Deconvolve Cit 1), downsized to 80% of original size.

Cassini division better defined around front of Saturn, Encke minimum (?) visible along right side of ring.

Lost definition of cloud features.
