Seeing was Good (7/10). The best AVI was input into IRIS where the best 400 of 1800 frames were selected, aligned, wavelet processed and color combined. Final contrast and color saturation done in PhotoShop. The resulting image has been reduced to 75% of its original size.

Seeing was Very Good (8/10). The best AVI was input into IRIS, aligned, wavelet processed and color combined. The AVI used was one of the AVIs used in the production of the image below. This procesing approach was recomended by Thierry Legault. It appears to result in significantly more detail being extracted from the data.

Seeing was Very Good (8/10). Best 128 frames from 600+ images collected in 2 AVI within 3 min. Collected with Vega 1.2, Selected with AVI2bmp. Aligned and combined with AstroStack, unsharp mask 5, contrast and saturation adjusted with PhotoShop. The Great Red (Salmon) Spot is visible near the center of the image.

Aligned and combined with AstroStack, unsharp mask 8, contrast and saturation adjusted with PhotoShop. The Great Red (Salmon) Spot is visible at the center of the image. The image is slightly clipped at the top. This image was made the night before opposition.

The shadow above the Great Red (Salmon) Spot belongs to Callisto.
