Artist Statement

I use the process of making objects as a tool through which to perceive and interpret the world I live in. As a trained furniture designer and craftsman, the objects I construct often rely heavily on interactive engagements through which intended layers of meaning become revealed to the participant. Often these interactions serve little or no practicle utilitarian function, but are meant to be playful and to incite discussion.
