Wow.
The first version of Pix Tricks is out an already I get
a cease and desist notice and am threatened with legal
action. The image that the iPhoto Makeover was done on
was from a great site called
Stock Xchang.
This is a wonderful source of free images for both
personal and commercial use. The photographer of the
image is from Holland and didn't understand the
intent of the site or what rights he had granted to
the image. I have rights to use the photo, but
decided to pull Pix Tricks as a courtesy to the
photographer. I know that if I had unintentionally
given away rights to one of my images, I would
appreciate that courtesy myself.
I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused readers. I was really happy with that first issue and am sorry to see it go.
