That Was Then -  A Taste of Seventeenth Century France

Students will research the historical setting of the play by taking a cybertrip to 17th century France. After "visiting" 17th century France, students will prepare a multimedia "scrapbook" of the art, music, fashion, and historical context of the play. Students will analyze how a work of literature is related to the themes and issues of its historical period (Historical Approach) and generate relevant questions about readings that can be researched.
