  | PREDICATE: The predicate of the sentence says something about the subject. Example: The team arrived. (The predicate is arrived.)

  | Example: Dad usually mows the lawn on Saturday. (The predicate is usually mows the lawn on Saturday.)
Note: The whole predicate is called the complete predicate. (Usually mows the lawn on Saturday is the complete predicate. The simple predicate is mows.)
Note: The complete predicate includes the main verb with its modifiers.
