Ugh!

I'd swear, but I'm trying not to get this site banned.

Quick solution:

Ignore South Dakota.

From what I've heard, there is only one clinic in the state that performs abortions. Close it down and make the whole state just sit there, waiting for the phones to ring. Seriously.

Imagine how peeved the anti-abortion crowd would be if they threw their righteousness into getting this law up to the Supreme Court and the pro-choice people just ignored it!

By the way, I did notice that I'm being biased in choosing "anti-abortion" and "pro-choice". Just as other choose "Pro-life" and "Pro-abortion". I honestly think that there is no one who is pro-abortion. It's a horrible thing. On the other hand, so is getting pregnant when you are not ready for it is pretty bad too. Now add getting pregnant via rape or incest, endangering the health of the baby or the mom, etc.

Imagine what it would be like to be a pretty, straight A student trying to climb out of a lower class community by getting into a college. Then, getting unexpectedly pregnant. She might very well be forced to choose not to go to college because she suddenly has to raise a child (not much of a choice if you're forced, huh?)

How could this happen? Well, let's see, there are several ways.
• Imagine the girl is from a religious family who, because of their morals, decide not to let the girl attend those "nasty" health courses that explain about how babies are created. (oops!)
• Imagine this girl working hard and studying in the library until late at night. on the way home, the unspeakable happens.
• Imagine that her father, or brother thinks that she is "just too pretty" to resist.
• Imagine that she is a normal, curious young woman who finds out that sex is actually enjoyable, then makes a mistake.
• Imagine that she makes it to college, falls in love, has a nice wedding and gets pregnant through careful planning and thought. Then, she finds out that there is something wrong and the baby will be born horribly disfigured, or her life is threatened by the pregnancy.

Now, take away her option to {abort, kill} the {living group of cells, fetus, unborn child}?

Shame! Not on her, but on the people that deny her the right to undo her unfortunate circumstance.

There are plenty of other situations out there. It's not up to you, it's up to the people involved!
