It's Santa Cruz's birthday!! (212?)

OK, so the place has been around for a lot longer than that and even if you say that the Spanish founded it way before that, there have been other people, animals and plants there for even longer. But that's not my point.

We're putting on a fireworks show on Saturday night! What's that? You didn't know that I am a pyrotechnician? Check out these pictures from last Fourth of July. Anyway, it is happening at the Main Beach & Boardwalk . It will start around 8 PM and it will be simulcast on KWAV 97 FM Radio.

I'm going to be off work tomorrow doing the first day of setup, then there's the second day of setup on Saturday, then the 10-15 minutes of WOW, then another 2 hours of clean up and an hour drive home.

Why do I do this? Oh yea. My good friend Dan introduced me to this gig way back in 1980. I pretty much only work on his crew now.
