Yesterday was the 100th anniversary of Bloomsday. Jason Kotte posted a link to a way to read James Joyce's masterpiece: Ulysses: One Page Every Day. Note that it's already on day two, so get in there and catch up! RSS feeds available too!

I've tried to read Ulysses on two occasions. I found it interesting, but couldn't get through it all. But I'm gonna do it this year (maybe not via the one-page-a-day method. It's going to last until June 14, 2006!)
