Give up Bluetooth?
AT&T and SonyEricsson want my t68i. No way!
Once I got home from our weekend away I found a fold-over card in the
mail from AT&T. It described how I was so valuable a customer that they were
going to give me a new phone to replace my
t68i.
Since I have been having some trouble with my phone (nasty reception, people not
hearing me at all when I call them, etc.) I opened the card and found that not
only were they offering to do this, my new T226 phone was already being shipped
to me. Not only that, they were shipping a box for me to ship my old phone back
for "disposal". Well, that was very interesting! They listed a
web page
with more information and they had a tool-free number.
OK.
I'll bite. I went to the web site and found their
comparison page. Those nasty mean people!
They're trying to take away my Bluetooth! So, I called and waded through their
voice-tree until I got to a live person. I asked her about the Bluetooth and
what I should do. She responded that the new phone was a gift and that I could
keep it and my existing phone. I asked if I could trade them both in for a
lovely new
T637, but I was rebuffed. :-\

pretty much the same thing to say. Maybe we're
the only ones, but I don't think so!
