The song I picked

A song by Hallucinogen dubbed by OTT

OK, so I looked around a lot and listened to a bunch of tracks and followed a bunch of leads. Several things that I liked, I decided against because I will probably buy the whole album at some point. I've found that I have been listening to a lot of deep, throbby, trancesque, electronica for a while. Bands like Hooverphonic, Massive Attack, Moby, Delerium, etc. I guess I've been listening to this stuff for a long time. I have a bunch of Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre, Pink Floyd from the beginnings of the genre. I still remember hearing Tour de France for the first time and thinking "Wow, that's cool." and also noticing that it would be easy to do that with the right tools (Enter GarageBand, which I don't have time to mess with, but would like to.)

I ended up getting "LSD (World Sheet of Closed Strings Mix)" by OTT. It is a song by Hallucinogen that has been re-dubbed by OTT. I'm not exactly sure who or what OTT is, but I'm sure I'll check into it one of these days. It has a nice deep beat that's not to fast, but has enough energy to keep my blood moving.

I listened to, and mostly liked, Shpongle, Doof, Younger Brother and some others in the Electronic category, but many of them would be very nice in a club or while I was sitting on a couch in a dimly lit room, I wanted to get something that I could listen to while working and not be too distracted or zone out too much.

Feel free to make other musical suggestions in the comments!
