Driving to work the long way.

It was a beautiful trip

So this morning I got to drive the boys to school. This may seem mundane, but they now attend school in Bonny Doon even though we haven't moved yet. Shawn has been alternating commuting them and staying in a motel. She's been very good to do this for our boys. Most days she just sits around and reads or sews while they are in school and then she picks them up and drives them either home or to a motel near the wharf.

Well, today she had a dentist appointment (well, we thought she did) and so I got to run the kids over to BD. It just so happens that I needed to take something from Cupertino to Half Moon Bay, so I got to do a little driving.

Palo Alto to Cupertino
Cupertino to Bonny Doon
Bonny Doon to Half Moon Bay
Half Moon Bay to Cupertino

Very nice drive. I highly recommend it. Of course, you need a couple of hours... It's about 130 miles.

The third leg of the trip is the prettiest, Sun, fog, sun, fog, sun. Pigeon Point Lighthouse, Northern California beaches. Ah.
