Go Miranda, go!

Amazing how news spreads

So, my cousin Dani now lives in Grafton, Mass. She is the one who told me about my cousins Tim's daughter Miranda McOsker and her football triumph in southern California. This morning my mom said that my sister, LeeAnn, had heard about Miranda on ESPN. So, I did a Google Search on "Miranda McOsker". The results are somewhat interesting to me. The serch that I first did had "Miranda McOsker" in quotes and said that it found 163 hits, but only showed me 19 of them (2 pages). In that list was a link to feedmine.com (article no longer available) that quoted from MacDude Musings, but MacDude Musings didn't show up. Once I had I had Google show me all the links this blog showed up as the second site after The Daily Breeze (which I linked to and is the local paper reporting on the San Pedro area.)

I guess I don't have enough readership. Hehe.

The bulk of the hits on google were just quotes of the AP article (which does not seem to be on the ap.org site).

I sure hope that Miranda and her family are enjoying all the attention. Her dad, Tim McOsker, certainly should be used to the press. Hopefully all is well!

Good luck tomorrow night against Serra!
