• Caption: 1948 USGS map showing the at-grade subway route in Bond Hill. Note the marked Rapid Transit route to the south and west of St. Aloysius. The Norwood Lateral follows that route and it crosses Reading Road at the location of the rapid transit bridge. However, the Lateral continues southeastward from there and crosses Ross Avenue at the B&O tracks. The rapid transit route east of Reading is now just an overgrown fence line along the north and east side of the Showcase Cinemas parking lot.
