• Caption: N&W viaduct on Grovedale Avenue in Hyde Park, looking north. This small residential subdivision is only accessible through this viaduct, built in 1929. This is a huge bridge for what was never more than a single track railway. The 1927 Beeler Report, which described alternate routes for completing the eastern section of the Cincinnati Subway, suggested some surface running through this area. It's possible that this bridge was built to accommodate two rapid transit rails along with the N&W line, but I have no verification of this.
