• Caption: Historic view of the Cincinnati Waterworks in California, looking southwest across Kellogg Avenue. The IR&T line can be seen at the bottom along the inbound side of Kellogg. Supposedly the stretch west of Coney Island was double-tracked, since it carried both the Suburban Traction and Cincinnati & Eastern lines, as well as the traffic to the amusement park. This photo is dated 1900-1910, so I suspect the traction line is brand new, if not still under construction, which would date it around 1901-1903.
