Our 20th. Wedding Anniversary Grand Tour.

For our 20th. Anniversary, we decided to visit some National Parks out west. We started in Carlsbad, NM with stops in San Antonio and Grants NM and Flagstaff, AZ before arriving at the Grand Canyon. We had been there before, but this time we spent a week and got to really see the Canyon.

We went on to Page, AZ and Lake Powell National Rec. Area for another week and were pleased to find a new RV park right on the lake. We then went on to visit Zion and Bryce National Parks. Both were fantistic and different. We even took a "mule ride" at Bryce. After checking out the area, it was on to Arches and Canyonland National Parks. They are close to Moab, UT and Moab is one of the better town in UT.

We decided to go on to CO. and stopped by Glenwood Springs at the town of "No Name". The RV park was right on the Colorado River and we found some people from Florida we had met at Lake Powell staying there. A great place to relax is the "hot springs pool" at the Glenwood Hotel, and there are some nice places to eat in town. We enjoyed the company as well as the location and even went "rafting" on the CO. river.

We then went to visit Brad & Cyndi Wick in Pitkin, CO. We stayed over two weeks and they were great hosts and showed us all the local sights, people and places. A little fly fishing and running around the mountains is a lot of fun. We celebrated "Pitkin Days" as well as a couple of other parties. Amanda (their daughter), Cole and Creed (New Grandson) came for a visit while we were there.

On to Taos, NM for a visit with Connie's sister & husband, Dan. Then back to Texas and a visit with Connie's parents before we came home.
