First bike commute today


Today was the first day that I commuted by bike this season. I missed a lot of last season since we had a puppy who needed to be fed at lunch time. It was great to be back in the saddle again. I hope to ride through Thanksgiving this year. Some people ride year around here even on the -24 (yes minus 24) degree days.

The temperature went up into the 70s today. I was actually too warm on my ride home. Yea! Hot! I'll get over that soon enough. The grass is just starting to turn green and a few flowers have started to bloom but we are still on the very front edge of Spring here (Bert. I'm sooo jealous of you and your February flowers ;-) )

Lola has been enjoying hanging out outside for hours at a time now. It is warm. There are squirrels and good Spring smells. I'm a happy dog.
