Remodelling Begins again.


We are starting to remodel our Master Bath and Bedroom. Having a puppy underfoot and doing a remodeling job is either the dumbest thing we done or it is brilliant. I need to be home a lot to talk to the various contractors. This aligns well with being home a lot to take care of a 9 week old puppy. On the other hand, Lola is perpetually underfoot and I really can't get much of anything else done when she is around. The days are spent with, "what are you chewing, where are you, do you need to go outside, don't chew! don't bite! No!" and "go for a walk?".

Here are some before pictures for those who are interested in seeing the job progress.

Bedroom Before - the North wall is on the left, the East wall is on the right. We are putting in an 8 foot window on the North wall and we will be repainting. We are replacing the other window and the bathroom windows at the same time with Integrity by Marvin windows.

Bathroom before - it will still be tiny but much improved. Watch this space to see the new design. The photos are (left to right): The shower surround which is just to the left of the sink, the sink and the toilet.
We will be done by September 3rd or so which isn't too bad. It has made a complete mess of the upstairs - moving stuff out of our room and piling things into the office and moving into the guest room. I'll post more pictures as things move along.
