Remodeling - Part 2

The work is moving forward slowly. After some delays (plumber didn't order parts when I said he could), we are finally in the thick of it. The bath has been gutted and the tile is starting to go in. I've started to strip wall-paper. I was really lucky on the wall-paper stripping. We have three layers of wall-paper in the bedroom. I was just poling around and playing to see how much work it would be to strip. I grabbed the top layer and pulled. The top and second layer came off really easily (no wetting, steaming, soaking, spraying, scraping) in huge sheets. Whole sections would just pull right off. Now to see about the next layer down.

Here are the next set of pictures for those of you who want to follow along. The remodeling has made a complete mess of the upstairs. We are living out of the guest room and the guest bath. Ena's office is completely stuffed with overflow items. Dust is everywhere. Lola the puppy thinks the dust and sawdust are great fun to slide around in. We are reaching the fun point though when things start to come back together.

The master bedroom - wall paper stripped from the North Wall.
Stripping wall-paper
I hope they are planning on leaving the toilet there.
Over flow of stuff - Ena's office next to the Master Bedroom
The Bathroom Floor gutted.
The new plumbing in the shower. I wonder if when my nephew had his truck "piped" if this is what he meant? Am I cool now that I've had my bathroom piped?
The new bathroom floor.
The new shower floor. Tiles haven't been grouted yet.

Two more weeks or so and we will be done (I hope).
