Hot and Humid

We have hit the hot-and-humid part of the Summer.
It was 87°F today with 66% humidity.
I was running errands this afternoon. As I left
an air conditioned building, my sunglasses fogged up when I hit the outside air.
My air conditioned sun glasses were colder than the dew point. Like I said,
"Hot and Humid". I'm a big fuzzy guy and I don't do hot and humid that well.
I grew up in a cold climate with a basement bedroom surrounded on four sides by
unheated space (two outside walls with single pane windows, an unheated
uninsulated garage and an unfinished basement space). My brother and I shared
the room and we would, on occasion in the depths of Winter, have our water
glasses freeze solid over night on our beside tables. In a world of Producers
and Consumers, I'm a heat Producer. Fortunately, I married a serious heat
Consumer.
It is interesting how 87° and 66% humidity doesn't seem so bad when you are on a island in the Bahamas. Then it seems just right ;-)
