Hi All,

I am deprecating this blog and moving to WordPress on my own domain. Follow me on over to http://www.jimphelps.info for my personal blog. My work blog is at http://arch.doit.wisc.edu/jim/

I signed up with Dreamhost for a year. I will keep my .Mac account for photos and syncing and all the other goodness.

I decided to move to WordPress and Dreamhost for a few reasons: I have been traveling a lot so blogging from my home computer only was a pain, often the urge to write something comes to me when I'm working from my laptop (with WordPress I can post through any browser), I like the ability to integrate del.icio.us, Flickr and Technorati into WordPress, I like the customizability of WordPress and all of the themes that exist and I use WordPress for the I.T. Architecture site (http://arch.doit.wisc.edu ) so I'm up on all the patches anyway.
